For: Prommt account administrators managing users and access.
Before you start
You need Administrator access to delete users
Deleting a user removes their access to your Prommt account immediately — they will not be able to log in after deletion
Payment requests sent by the deleted user remain on your account and are not affected
Deletion cannot be undone — if the user needs access again in future, they will need to be re-invited
Steps
Step 1 — Go to the Users page
From your Prommt dashboard, click Users in the left-hand navigation.
Step 2 — Find the user
Locate the user you want to remove from the list. You can scroll or search by name.
Step 3 — Open the user options
Click the ... menu next to the user's name.
Step 4 — Select Delete
Click Delete from the menu options. A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.
Step 5 — Confirm deletion
Confirm the deletion. The user is removed from your account immediately and will no longer be able to log in.
What success looks like
The user no longer appears in your Users list. If they attempt to log in, they will not be able to access the account. Any notifications previously assigned to them will need to be reviewed — see Configuring account notifications.
Troubleshooting
I can't see the Delete option on a user. Confirm you have Administrator access. Staff users cannot delete other users. If you have Admin access and the option is still not visible, contact Prommt Support via the chat button in your dashboard.
I deleted a user by mistake. Deletion cannot be reversed. Re-invite the user following the steps in [How to add a new user] — they will receive a new invitation email and can set up their access again.
The deleted user is still appearing in the Notifications recipient list. Go to Settings → Notifications and remove the deleted user from the recipients list. Deleted users are not automatically removed from notification settings.
I want to remove access temporarily rather than permanently. Prommt does not currently support suspending or deactivating a user without deleting them. If you need to restrict access temporarily, delete the user and re-invite them when access is needed again.
